Data collected

Spaces That Matter collects the following personal data in the course of its activities:

• Contact form: first name, last name, work email address, company, job title, headcount, free-text message.
• Employee questionnaire: anonymized answers to the items of the STM framework (no personally identifiable data is associated with the answers).
• Browsing data: via Google Tag Manager — pages visited, length of visit, traffic source (aggregated and anonymized data).

Purposes of processing

The data collected is used to:

• Process demo requests and respond to incoming messages
• Calculate STM framework scores and produce certification reports
• Improve the website and its content (anonymized analytics)
• Send communications relating to Spaces That Matter (with explicit consent)

Legal basis

Data processing is based on:

• The consent of the data subject (contact form, newsletter)
• The legitimate interest of Spaces That Matter (service improvement, analytics)
• The performance of a contract (processing of certification requests)

Retention period

Contact data is kept for 3 years from the last contact. Questionnaire answers are kept in aggregated and anonymized form with no time limit.

Data sharing

Spaces That Matter does not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Your data may be shared with:

• Formspree (processing of contact forms)
• Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics (anonymized analytics)
• The Fabrique Spinoza, partner of Spaces That Matter, for the purposes of scientific research

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of access — obtain a copy of your data
• Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data
• Right to erasure — delete your data
• Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured format
